The British boxer prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight round match which will be streamed live on Netflix.
Briton Anthony Joshua stated he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "overpower" the American as the pair came face-to-face to promote the upcoming boxing match.
Former twice world title holder Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a mammoth uneven pairing - at Miami venue on 19 December.
Fighter's Mindset
"I'm going to damage his features and damage his physique. My goal is to show my superiority," the British boxer, 35, stated.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's how fighters think.
"I will really want to cause him pain. That's my intention."
Civil Interaction
In spite of those words, a relaxed Joshua and social media star Paul - normally recognized for his showmanship - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.
Paul rather attacked ex Joshua opponent the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "ridiculous" after Ngannou declined a bout proposal.
Targeting Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at British rival Tyson Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul outshines Tyson Fury - he showed up," Joshua stated.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Fighter
Despite declaring he will damage his opponent, Joshua refused to talk badly about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he stated.
Paul's Background
Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has primarily boxed mixed martial artists or faded names since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by British fighter Fury in last year.
Commercial Attraction
However, the relative newcomer continues to be one of boxing's largest commercial attractions, regularly earning huge paydays.
Prediction and Belief
The 28-year-old forecast a KO victory in rounds four or five and claimed he would derail the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is reportedly under discussion for two years from now.
"The next fight will be my match with Fury next year," Paul declared.
Size Disparity
As both boxers met for the usual confrontation, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it highlighted just how surprising this whole event is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is actually happening.
